As a Process Engineer III, you will be responsible for the erection, commissioning, and start-up of SCR Projects. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of industrial processing systems and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the installation and start-up of SCR systems, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Perform as a site engineer, engineering coordinator, and start-up engineer for systems, providing technical expertise and guidance to team members.
- Develop new equipment and techniques, including the selection and evaluation of hardware and software, to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of SCR systems.
- Transfer operating knowledge to SCR customers through training, publications, discussions, presentations, and other forms of communication.
- Make suggestions on how to improve SCR equipment and processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Answer technical questions posed by existing and prospective SCR customers and new employees, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Produce daily progress reports during start-ups and field service visits, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed of project progress.
- Write trip reports after customer visits, documenting key findings and recommendations.
- Minimum of 8 years of process engineering or operations management experience in industrial processing systems.
- Preferred experience with combustion management systems operation.
- Desirable experience with molten metal processing systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- International travel required up to 50% of the time, with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
