We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper II to join our team at J.F. Shea Family of Companies. As a Housekeeper II, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our Club facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and clean all Club buildings on a daily schedule, adhering to BlueStar standards and procedures.
  • Clean all facilities, including floors, carpets, walls, ledges, pictures, mirrors, furniture, fixtures, and equipment, and empty garbage containers.
  • Assist the Maintenance Department in completing duties as assigned.
  • Lead and create an action plan for special facility or maintenance cleaning projects.
  • Maintain par levels and take inventory of housekeeping supplies on a weekly basis.
  • Maintain an infection-free facility by thoroughly washing, cleaning, and replacing equipment and/or furnishings.
  • Report repairs or the need for replacements to the facility maintenance manager and follow up to ensure repair meets facility standards.
  • Work in a safe manner and use all personal protective equipment (safety gear) assigned, reporting unsafe conditions or accidents to a supervisor.
  • Comply with all rules and regulations for using cleaning products and chemicals, as provided by the Facility Manager.
  • Assist with set up and tear down for Club events.

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Six months' experience in housekeeping or hospitality.
  • Current First Aid or other safety certifications, as required by the Club.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members about job tasks and responsibilities.
  • Desire to contribute to a productive work environment by maintaining a positive attitude with team members and the public.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, with the ability to think, work, solve practical problems, and make independent decisions based on sound judgment.
  • Must have good time management, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Must be able to consistently achieve high work standards, with attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness expected.
  • Must be able to pay attention to multiple details and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where continuous improvement is expected.
  • This position requires a flexible schedule to include evenings and weekends, with limited travel required.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
