Job Title: Shell Department Operator 12 Hour Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Shell Department Operator to join our team at Triax Industries LLC. As a Shell Department Operator, you will be responsible for assisting in the day-to-day activities in the Shell Department, including dipping molds, moving materials, housekeeping, inventory maintenance, wrapping molds, operating the robot, testing materials, mixing slurries, de-waxing molds, and other activities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Wash wax molds, attach hardware, and hang molds on the shell line in compliance with the appropriate tech cards.
  2. Perform housekeeping duties in the shell room and de-wax area, including cleaning tools and slurry pots.
  3. Remove molds from the conveyor line, prepare molds for de-wax, and de-wax molds using the boiler-clave.
  4. Supply materials to the department as necessary to maintain slurries and sanders.
  5. Assist in the mixing of slurries per tech cards and directions.
  6. Wrap molds with KOWool per tech card instructions.
  7. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Must read, comprehend, and follow all safety procedures for the department.
  2. Must be able to speak and read English.
  3. Access tech cards via Synchro for Shell and Mold Wrap operations.
  4. Job requires good organization and time management skills.
  5. Must be able to comprehend and follow detailed technical instructions.

Physical Demands:

  1. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  2. Ability to continuously stand or sit.
