Overview of the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our client's finance team in Tacoma. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processing for both union and non-union employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sole responsibility for payroll processing, ensuring compliance with multiple pay rules.
  • Manage payroll functions in union and non-union environments, utilizing time and attendance systems efficiently.
  • Analyze payroll operations to enhance overall processes and accuracy, recommending improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Finance department on AP-related projects and provide support for HR initiatives.

About the Position:

Requirements:

  • A minimum of three years of payroll experience, preferably in a healthcare or union environment.
  • Familiarity with time and attendance systems and knowledge of Paycor software is a plus.
  • Prior experience in managing complex payroll rules and regulations.
