Cenergistic Energy Specialist Job Description

Cenergistic is seeking a highly skilled Energy Specialist to join our team. As the face of our energy conservation program, you will be responsible for developing and driving the organization's energy conservation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Identify energy consumption patterns and make recommendations to Client leadership for energy conservation measures.
  2. Utilize the latest technology to analyze energy consumption data and provide insights for improvement.
  3. Perform on-site audits to assess energy efficiency opportunities.
  4. Manage and maintain utility consumption data to ensure accurate savings measurements.
  5. Meet with Client's Program Liaison monthly to report on energy program status.
  6. Cultivate open communications with Client leadership, facilities, maintenance, and custodial staff.
  7. Report quarterly to the Board on energy program status and success.

Requirements:

  1. Graduation from an accredited College or University with a bachelor's degree and 2-3 years' work experience.
  2. Or Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma with six (6) years' work experience.
  3. Demonstrate analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to exercise good judgment in implementation of policy.
  6. Ability to promote Client involvement and engagement to implement change.
  7. Ability to conduct presentations in large and small groups.
  8. Demonstrate ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and concurrent projects.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, and experience with technology and personal computer operations.
  10. Commit to irregular hours, including nights, weekends, early mornings, holidays, and summer.
  11. Maintain a valid driver's license and ability to drive to client locations.

Work Environment:

The Energy Specialist will work in a variety of settings, including office and field environments. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office and moderate to loud in the field.

Physical Demands:

The Energy Specialist will be required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move objects up to 10 pounds.
