We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Administrator to join our team at DAK Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing exceptional leadership to our team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and enforce policies and directives to ensure efficient administration and compliance with company standards.
- Collaboration and Oversight: Collaborate closely with physicians and provide oversight as needed to ensure the provision of outstanding quality of patient care and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Provide input regarding maintenance, repairs, purchases, or policies that may benefit, decrease liability, or enhance resident satisfaction.
- Departmental Support: Assist department directors in the development and use of departmental policies and procedures, and establish a rapport in and among departments to promote teamwork.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Review facility policies and procedures periodically, at least annually, and make changes as necessary to ensure continued compliance with current regulations (e.g., ADA, ergonomics, air quality).
- Communication and Training: Interpret facility policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, as necessary.
- Facility Inspections: Conduct routine inspections of the facility to ensure that established policies and procedures are being implemented and followed, including periodic visits on evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Contract Management: Track and file contracts and insurance certificates.
- Move Coordination: Direct, schedule, coordinate, and monitor all move and rearrangement projects involving I.S.
- Building Services: Arrange building services on a timely basis.
- Additional Tasks: Accomplish other tasks as directed.
Requirements:
- Education: Relevant degree such as Bachelor's and Associate Degree in Health Care, Education, Management, Business/Administration, Behavioral Sciences, Nutrition, Business, Nursing, Health Administration, Administration.
- Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of work experience in a hospital, retail pharmacy, or Dr. Office, at the minimum level of associate Facility Administrator or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
- Exceptions: Exceptions may be made concerning supervisory experience if the candidate clearly demonstrates the ability to supervise the proper administration of a correction or detention facility of a substantial number of inmates.
- Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - experience with medical database software preferred.
Compensation: Market value for the position and experience, to be discussed during the in-person interview, with a starting salary of $110,000 per year.
