About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Improvement Engineering Manager I to join our team at Ross Stores, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to drive process improvements and retail distribution advancements within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and lead improvement efforts through all stages of the Lean Sigma process (DMAIC, Lean, PDCA, etc.) to simplify all DC processes and reduce related costs within the Supply Chain value stream.
  • Lead operational readiness activities associated with new building start-ups and reconfigurations of existing buildings.
  • Partner with Network Strategy, DC Operations, and Training to provide cross-functional project support.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and control with DC Operations and Training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with Industrial/Systems Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years related engineering experience; retail distribution operations preferred.
  • Minimum of Green Belt certification in Six Sigma, Black Belt preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Ability to project manage and work independently across one or more improvement projects.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex cross-functional strategic projects.
