Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute day-to-day financial transactions and ensure the accuracy of all postings.
  • Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, and bank accounts at month-end to guarantee financial integrity.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Process accounts receivable/payable efficiently and manage payroll in a timely manner.
  • Develop comprehensive monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets, providing valuable insights into the company's financial performance.
  • Actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Provide support during audit preparation by gathering documentation and ensuring compliance with established control processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role demonstrating proficiency in financial management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential for efficient task completion.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a collaborative work environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is highly desirable.
