- Interpret blueprints, submittals, and specifications, providing clear guidance to team members.
- Manage, direct, and oversee workers, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Coordinate materials deliveries and ensure timely receipt of necessary supplies.
- Effectively communicate with Project Superintendents and Management, providing regular updates and progress reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation of construction activity and productivity logs, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Attend weekly job site meetings and provide regular updates to Senior Foreman and Management.
- Valid state-issued driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Minimum of two years of drywall experience, with a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and scheduling.
- Ability to influence change management and operational performance, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Commitment to all OSHA and Optiline safety practices and procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
The physical demands of this role include stamina, manual dexterity, and good vision. The ability to climb ladders, work off ladders, and be within ladder weight restrictions is required. Regular lifting and/or pulling up to 50 lbs is also necessary.
Dress Code: For safety purposes, well-fitting work pants/jeans and an assigned Optiline shirt are required. Sturdy steel toe boots/sneakers and any necessary safety gear on-site are also necessary. Clean-shaven (a requirement for respirator use), well-groomed, and hygienic appearance is expected.
Environment: The job functions are primarily carried out at off-site locations at residential homes and commercial properties. The noise level is usually moderate, but loud equipment and construction-type sounds occur. This position also requires the employee to be in the Company office and/or at the Client office(s) for various meetings.
