The Parking Services Specialist delivers exceptional front-door vehicle and luggage assistance to patrons arriving and departing from the venue. This role is pivotal in ensuring that each guest's valet experience is outstanding, distinctive, and aligns with the established standards and expectations, necessitating a high degree of professionalism, elegance, and care. The specialist maintains a friendly demeanor and public image while being readily available to extend genuine greetings, cordial farewells, provide information, and assist guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Professionally and warmly greet guests upon arrival. Assist with luggage handling and vehicle door operations. Conduct thorough inspections and document the condition of each vehicle for safety concerns and existing damages.
  • Safely park and retrieve vehicles, ensuring no harm comes to the vehicle, individuals, or property. Be prepared to navigate challenging conditions, including extreme weather typical of desert environments, steep inclines, and various surface types.
  • Maintain precision in processing guest payments, managing vehicle key inventory, and confirming that the guest's receipt corresponds with the key and vehicle before returning the key to the guest. Ensure vehicles are parked legally and facilitate a smooth traffic flow.
  • Follow up with guests to confirm that their requests or issues have been addressed satisfactorily. Document and report any vehicle-related incidents, including damages, accidents, thefts, or lost items.
  • Provide guests with directions, information about local attractions, and extend invitations for future visits as needed.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate a variety of vehicles, including both automatic and manual transmissions.
  • Be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying days off.
  • Stand or walk for the entirety of the shift.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

In addition to the aforementioned duties, each team member is responsible for compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in mandatory training sessions provided by the company.
  • Obtain and maintain necessary licenses.
  • Execute responsibilities in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure minors are not permitted to engage in gambling activities or access restricted areas.
  • Be knowledgeable about the ordinances, regulations, and policies relevant to the department.
  • Understand the property's programs aimed at addressing problem gaming.
  • Report any misconduct or violations of which the team member is aware.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License with a minimum of six months of driving experience and no traffic violations.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull weights ranging from 25 to 50 pounds.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Driver's License with at least three years of driving experience.
