The Human Resources Manager provides strategic support to the O'Connor Woods Executive Director and employees, focusing on employee relations, recruitment, new hire orientation, leave of absence processing, and benefits education.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations: Maintain confidentiality and conduct thorough investigations as required, providing written summaries to management.
- Training and Development: Develop, implement, and deliver employee training programs, including new hire orientation, supervisor training, and mandatory in-services.
- Benefits and Compensation: Provide education and support to employees and management on benefits and compensation-related matters.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with employees and management, ensuring effective communication and a high level of customer service.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to state and federal employment laws, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Experience: Minimum of five years' experience as a Human Resources Manager, with a strong working knowledge of state and federal employment law.
- Certifications: PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certifications are strongly preferred.
