POSITION SUMMARY:

The Nurse Practitioner in this position is a licensed healthcare professional who provides direct patient care, holds prescriptive authority, and operates within a specialized medical domain, such as Gastroenterology, Dermatology, or Cardiology.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and mental health through thorough examinations and medical histories.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with physicians to develop patient care plans.
  • Offer guidance on medical procedures, medications, and health promotion strategies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and facilitate referrals as necessary.
  • Manage patient care across various healthcare environments beyond the primary clinic.
  • Perform specialized medical procedures under supervision as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • In-depth knowledge of diagnosing and treating various health conditions, alongside preventive healthcare practices.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in formulating patient treatment plans and interpreting diagnostic results.
  • Active Nurse Practitioner license in Texas and relevant specialty certification.
