Provider Support Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Provider Support Specialist is tasked with orchestrating and implementing services for School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) programs. This role involves collaboration with the Program Operations Manager and fellow staff members at the Early Learning Coalition of Florida's Gateway (ELCFG) to create effective training, coaching, and technical support for VPK and School Readiness providers. The position is pivotal in ensuring program quality and fostering the professional growth of provider personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stay informed about the statutes and guidelines pertaining to School Readiness (SR) and Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) from relevant authorities.
- Engage in the recruitment of new providers and offer guidance on the process of becoming a School Readiness and/or VPK provider.
- Assist in formulating inclusive services alongside School Readiness and VPK providers.
- Design and deliver training sessions for providers.
- Provide technical support to providers and their staff.
- Encourage the utilization of an approved child assessment tool.
- Collaborate with agencies regarding program licensing, accreditation, and development.
- Analyze classroom data and establish objectives for early learning providers.
- Participate in professional conferences and training opportunities.
- Uphold the confidentiality of the organization.
- Perform additional tasks as necessary.
Additional Responsibilities: Other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Role: None
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and assessment systems is beneficial.
- Completion of background screening as mandated.
Required Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and attitude.
- Capability to follow verbal instructions.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent sitting and speaking, occasional use of hands, standing, walking, reaching, and lifting. Specific vision capabilities are necessary.
Work Environment:
Standard office setting with potential travel involved.
