Bilingual Property Claims Adjuster

Position Overview:

As a Bilingual Field Property Claims Adjuster, you will be responsible for investigating and managing property and casualty claims within designated market areas. Your role will involve determining liability, gathering information, reviewing coverage details, coordinating appraisals, and ultimately settling claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations of property claims to ensure accurate assessments.
• Collaborate with the Claims Division to uphold exceptional customer service and industry standards.
• Handle moderately complex claims in the field, focusing on homeowner property claims.
• Utilize a company-provided fleet vehicle for fieldwork.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this position is between $55,000 and $90,000 annually, depending on job level and geographic location.

Primary Duties:

• Assist customers with policy activities related to new business, renewals, and policy modifications.
• Ensure accurate data entry for new policies and changes across multiple systems.
• Address inquiries from customers and agents effectively.
• Prepare necessary correspondence and policy documentation.
• Provide on-the-job training as required.
• Support call center operations during peak demand or when escalated issues arise.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in delivering customer-focused solutions and services.
• Basic understanding of underwriting, servicing, and billing guidelines.
• Ability to utilize reference materials and comprehend policy language.
• Fluency in both Spanish and English, with successful completion of bilingual assessments.
• Preferred experience in writing estimates using Xactimate (1-3 years).

Work Environment:

This role is primarily home-based, with approximately 80% of your time spent working remotely or in the field. Occasional travel to an office may be required for team meetings and training sessions.
