Job Description

Job Summary:

Kahlig Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Professional to join our team of automotive sales professionals. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for understanding and implementing dealership sales processes, owning every aspect of the sales process, and presenting and demonstrating inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and Implement Dealership Sales Process: Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our dealership's sales process and implement it effectively to drive sales growth.
  • Own Every Aspect of the Sales Process: Take ownership of the sales process from new client prospecting to vehicle delivery, ensuring a seamless and customer-centric experience.
  • Present and Demonstrate Inventory: Showcase our inventory to customers, highlighting the features and benefits of each vehicle.
  • Review, Update and Manage Daily Inventory Reports: Analyze and manage daily inventory reports to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Create and Execute Strategies for Increasing Market Share: Develop and implement strategies to increase market share and drive sales growth.
  • Prepare and Review Monthly Plans with Sales Leadership: Collaborate with sales leadership to prepare and review monthly plans, ensuring alignment with dealership goals.
  • Maintain Customer Service Index, Gross Average and Monthly Units to Dealership Standards: Meet and exceed dealership standards for customer service, gross average, and monthly units.
  • Remain Up-to-Date on Products, Market Trends and Certification: Stay current on products, market trends, and certification requirements to provide expert knowledge to customers.
  • Must be Familiar with Client Relationship Management (CRM) Software: Proficiently use CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales data.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in Automotive Sales Management: 2-3 years of experience in automotive sales management is an added advantage.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficient in basic computer skills, including CRM software.
  • Positive, Friendly Attitude and Customer Service Mentality: Possess a positive, friendly attitude and a customer service mentality.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing situations.
  • Availability to Work Evenings and Weekends: Available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Pre-Employment Testing: Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including background checks, drug test, credit report, and valid driver's license.
