Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Mid Michigan Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Triage patient calls and schedule urgent/emergent add-ons
  • Perform routine pre-examination procedures, including vital signs and patient assessment
  • Update and maintain accurate patient records
  • Assist providers with examinations and procedures
  • Prepare and clean patient areas, set up equipment, and dispose of contaminated supplies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months of hire
  • Medical Assistant certification (RMA, CMA, or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a physician clinic setting
  • Knowledge of medical office policies and procedures
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires regular and predictable attendance. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
