About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Division at LaBella Associates in Rochester. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing expert design and technical support for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement system selection and calculations for design purposes
  • Conduct field work to document existing conditions and provide technical support as required
  • Collaborate with junior engineers to develop drawings and specifications using building modeling software
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete project designs and provide construction phase services
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience working at an A/E consulting firm, preferably in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Well-rounded experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems
  • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD, with experience in field work and project administration
  • New York State Professional Engineer's license is a plus
