Payroll Specialist

At Planet Professional, we are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Process biweekly multi-state payroll for approximately 1,000 employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Prepare and review payroll journal entries for export/upload to Netsuite
- Perform a variety of ad hoc tasks, including timecard approval follow-ups and new hire maintenance
- Multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now experience
- Excel pivot table experience
- Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet and expedient manner
- ADP Workforce Now certification
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Global company experience
- Experience working in a company with merger and acquisitions
- Solid problem-solving and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Extensive knowledge of payroll processes, tax compliance, and HR compliance
