As a Make Ready Technician, you will be essential in ensuring that vacated apartments are meticulously prepared for new occupants. Your duties will encompass evaluating apartment features, maintaining exterior spaces, and adhering to safety protocols.
Core Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage 'make ready' tasks by assembling necessary tools and materials
- Examine and repair or replace items such as flooring, appliances, and fixtures
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and carry out required repairs
- Perform painting, carpentry, and other related tasks as needed
- Be available for service calls regarding minor repairs
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of relevant experience as a Make Ready Technician in a residential setting
- HVAC and EPA certifications are preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in customer service is beneficial
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
- Must be adaptable, dependable, and a collaborative team member
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Capability to perform various physical tasks and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Work in both indoor and outdoor settings, subject to varying weather conditions
- Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed
