Bakery Department Supervisor

CompensationThe hourly wage range for this position is $24.00 to $32.00* per hour, depending on your location and qualifications. In addition to your hourly wage, you may also be eligible for premium pay in certain circumstances, ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour.
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Job DescriptionAs a Bakery Department Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of associates in the bakery department, ensuring that we meet our business objectives and deliver exceptional customer service. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Team Leadership: Supervise the team within the bakery department, communicate goals and expectations, and ensure that all associates are working together to achieve our objectives.
- Expertise: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our products, including recipes, production specifications, and seasonality of product. Share your expertise with the team and ensure that all associates have the skills and knowledge they need to succeed.
- Tech Savvy: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make informed business decisions and stay up-to-date on new tools and technologies.
- Business Results: Drive business results by ensuring operational excellence, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and meeting quality and food safety standards.
- Talent Development: Teach and train the team by identifying training needs, providing development opportunities, and encouraging career growth.
To be successful as a Bakery Department Supervisor, you will need:
- 6 months experience in a bakery production department or 6 months experience supervising a team.
- Able to successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
