Job Title: Groundskeeper/Herbicide

We are seeking a skilled Groundskeeper/Herbicide to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and plant life on our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and administer a program of grounds and plant maintenance, including growing schedules and continued propagation through plants and cuttings.
  • Perform a variety of tasks related to the care of grasses and plants, including trimming, pruning, and removing scrubs, bushes, and trees.
  • Conduct property inspections and report deficiencies to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by cleaning landscaping tools and equipment after each use.
  • Assist with general janitorial duties, including shoveling exterior walkways during wintery weather and salting or sanding icy walkways as needed.
Requirements:
  • Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required.
  • 2 years of grounds/herbicide experience and TWIC card required.
