Job Summary

The Utility Worker reports to the General Manager and is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Wash and Sanitize Equipment: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using a dishwasher or by hand.
  • Maintain Kitchen Areas: Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
  • Receive and Organize Stock: Receive product from vendors and organize stock in a timely manner.
  • Store Clean Equipment: Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
  • Remove Trash and Recycling: Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
  • Clean and Rotate Walk-in Cooler: Clean and rotate the walk-in cooler to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Assist with Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation as needed.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the Chef Manager.
Requirements
  • Independence and Teamwork: Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Dependability: Must be dependable and able to meet deadlines.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
