Job Summary:

Colorado State University is seeking a part-time Instructor to teach courses for the Interdisciplinary Liberal Arts major. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and a demonstrated ability to advance the department's commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach courses in research methods, documentary film as a liberal art, world literature, and senior capstone seminars
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives
  • Advise students and provide guidance on academic and professional development
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • MA (MFA/PhD for Special Assistant Professor titles) and evidence of excellent teaching capability at the college level required
  • Demonstrated commitment to and evidence of excellence in teaching capability at the college level required
  • Experience teaching courses related to Interdisciplinary approaches preferred
  • Ability to advance the department's commitment to diversity and inclusion through teaching and outreach
