Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Enrollment Management to join our team. The successful candidate will provide leadership and vision to the Enrollment Management team to increase and grow student enrollment, achieve maximum growth, and generate revenue in all Ranken's programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Ranken's sales, recruitment, and enrollment activities.
  • Participate with other Ranken staff for pipeline development and ensure continued effort is directed to increasing student enrollment to achieve maximum growth.
  • Review and approve short and long-range student recruitment objectives and goals to ensure enrollment efforts are designed to fill classes and generate revenue.
  • Identify target markets and develop recruitment strategies and best practices to meet sales goals and objectives.
  • Collect and analyze enrollment data to identify trends, successes, follow-up opportunities, and areas for targeted attention to increase sales for all Ranken programs at all locations.
  • Work with the Admission team on strategies to generate leads and close sales.
  • Accompany and observe Admissions Counselors on high school and corporate visits and provide feedback and guidance on presentations to improve performance.
  • Provide development opportunities to staff on sales techniques appropriate to the audience.
  • Provide sales tools to ensure support of recruiting efforts and events.
  • Ensure Admissions Counselors are selling day school, evening school, and industrial training programs for all technical areas of the College.
  • Work with department chairs and faculty to ensure thorough knowledge of each of Ranken's programs.
  • Maintain a strict confidentiality policy regarding student information in conjunction with FERPA and other laws.
  • Ensure excellence in hiring, coaching, and evaluating staff.
  • Develop and track department budgets, fostering economy.
  • Participate in college governance, committee work, student advising, etc.
  • Effectively communicate and implement Ranken policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Foster a positive, open, team environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate major or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the current higher education industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective sales techniques including closing the sale.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have vision, sound judgment, and be innovative, organized, and decisive.
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be highly self-motivated and results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage resources and develop budgets.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and have working knowledge of FERPA and other applicable laws.
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force.
Experience
  • Eight to ten years of progressively increasing responsibilities within the education field.
  • Experience working with students and student records in a confidential setting.
  • Experience working in a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience including effective skills to hire, train, and motivate staff and coordinate the efforts of others throughout the College.
