Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Wound Care Coordinator - RN at Everett Center in Everett, WA. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for leading and integrating a comprehensive Skin Health and Wound management program, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and skin health.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a fully integrated Skin Health and Wound management program in collaboration with nursing center management.
  • Oversee the use of durable medical equipment related to wound prevention and management.
  • Collaborate with the interprofessional team to ensure adherence to acceptable standards of care.
  • Develop and implement wound care protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular wound assessments and provide education to patients and caregivers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance wound care outcomes.
Requirements:
  • RN license (MPT/DPT with leadership review/approval)
  • Completion of Skin Health Team Lead orientation training and Wound Basics within 90 days of hire
  • Commitment to attend monthly support calls
  • National accredited wound certification (CWS, CWCN, WCC, CWON, WOC, AWCC) or commitment to complete Advanced Wound Training and national accredited Wound Certification within 1 year of hire
  • Strong knowledge base of clinical charting, incident reporting, and investigation response
  • Experience in team building and demonstrating respect for the interprofessional team in wound management
  • Knowledge of nursing home regulations and survey process
  • Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Database Management, PowerPoint skills

  • Competitive hourly rate: $52-$54 per hour
  • Full-time position with a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule (occasional evening/weekend hours may be required)
