We are seeking a skilled Senior Enterprise Network Architect to join our team at Addison Group. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting complex enterprise networks.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a variety of technologies, including LANs, WANs, SD-WAN, and wireless networks. You will have the chance to optimize network performance, ensure security, and support video/audio transmission solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, wireless networks, and multicast systems.
  • Optimize network performance and monitor issues across networks, including IP-based voice and video conferencing.
  • Implement network security practices using firewalls, VPNs, encryption, IDS/IPS, and secure proxies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and apply best practices for network growth and improvement.
  • Provide Tier 2 support for network issues, produce documentation, and maintain system configurations.
  • Assist in troubleshooting network performance issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare and maintain operational documentation and assist with system handoffs.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in planning, designing, and supporting multi-vendor enterprise networks, ideally in a 24/7 customer-facing environment.
  • Expertise with routing protocols (IGMP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPNs) and network security technologies (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS).
  • Detailed knowledge of wireless networking standards (802.11b/a/n/ac/ax).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network automation.
  • IP networking certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, with a customer-focused approach.
