Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Paralegal to provide day-to-day paralegal support to the Chief Legal Officer and Legal Department for Ionic Digital Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, negotiating, processing, revising, tracking, and filing of agreements, including commercial transactions and vendor services agreements, as well as providing assistance with regulatory compliance, special projects, and performing other operational assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee contract administration, including drafting, revising, and managing contracts under supervision of and for review by the CLO and other attorneys in the Legal Department.
  • Manage and utilize contract management systems.
  • Monitor and advise on contractual deadlines timely.
  • Ensure that terms of contracts are in accordance with Company policies, applicable federal and state regulations and laws, business needs, and work to minimize the Company's risks.
  • Organize, maintain, and track all Legal Department documents as well as assist with requirements tracking and fulfilling terms of contracts, including renewal, termination, data, and privacy.
  • Communicate and work with outside counsel as necessary.
  • Research and advise on special issues.
  • Route documents for signatures via DocuSign or its equivalent to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create processes and workflows that ensure productivity and conformance to Company best practices.
  • Administer records retention policy.
  • Collaborate with the Legal Team, Human Resources Team, IT team, and the Operations Team, along with leadership and stakeholders as necessary.
  • Schedule meetings with internal clients, lawyers, and outside vendors.
  • Provide general administrative assistance as needed and assigned by the CLO.
  • Manage deadlines and priorities for timely completion.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience as a commercial paralegal with a corporation.
  • Paralegal certificate, or equivalent certification, preferred.
  • Highly computer literate, including Google, Google Docs, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat.
  • Experience with legal and AI software a plus.
  • Self-motivated and efficient, with good business judgment and analytical skills.
  • Ability to efficiently manage large workload and react promptly to multiple deadlines while meeting personal and team key performance objectives.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to interact effectively at all levels and divisions of the Company.
  • Must possess working knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
