We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our team at Kimbrough Legal, PLLC. As a key member of our legal team, you will play a crucial role in drafting legal documents, conducting research, and maintaining case files.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist lawyers in trial preparation by preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and conducting research on legal articles.
  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence under the guidance of a lawyer.
  • Manage law office activities, including drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process servers.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as answering phone calls and maintaining an organized case filing system.
  • Conduct client interviews to gather information about legal matters.
Requirements:
  • Candidates with a paralegal professional certification or advanced paralegal education will receive preference.
  • Candidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program, such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Family Law Paralegal in the state of Texas is required.
  • Clear, concise, and effective communication skills, coupled with a positive attitude, are essential qualities for this role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and email is a must, with familiarity in legal software preferred.
