Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and produce engaging audio content for our podcasts, including researching and writing scripts, conducting interviews, and editing and mixing audio.
  • Collaborate with our team to launch new podcasts and elevate existing ones, including developing concepts, pitching ideas, and working with hosts and guests.
  • Lead high-end production to ensure top-notch audio and a professional experience for hosts and guests.
  • Coach and mentor our journalists on the nuances of reporting, writing, and interviewing for audio.
  • Work with marketing and advertising departments to develop promotional materials and expand our audience.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of producing high-quality audio journalism, including experience producing podcasts.
  • Rigorous journalistic standards, sound news judgment, and an eye for compelling stories.
  • Audio editing and mixing experience, including use of common editing and production tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards and best practices around podcasting.
  • Audience-focused mindset, including experience incorporating analytics and qualitative feedback into decision-making.
