Job Summary:

The Maintenance Worker II is a key member of the Ascentria Care Alliance team, responsible for maintaining and upkeeping the physical plant of our facilities. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations to ensure the comfort and safety of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to work orders and perform repairs on facility equipment and systems under the direction of the Facilities Manager.
  • Maintain and repair Luther Ridge physical plant, focusing on sheetrock, taping, and professional painting, as well as maintaining and repairing contents and resident equipment.
  • Assist in sustaining a preventative maintenance program on equipment and supplies.
  • Aid in the repair of movable and permanent equipment in the building as needed, including A/C, heating, electrical, lighting, plumbing, emergency generator, fire alarm, and sprinklers.
  • Provide assistance in renovating rooms as directed, including painting, floor, and ceiling repairs.
  • Use heavy machinery to strip and wax floors as directed.
  • Assist in snow removal as needed.
