Position/Title: Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Interventionist
Location: Middletown High School
Position Broad Function: Supports the SEL through direct and indirect Tier I, II, and III intervention
Supervised By: School Social Worker/Psychologist and School Principal
Qualification Profile: A Bachelor's Degree in psychology, social work, human services, or other related field, as well as experience working with children in an educational setting, is strongly preferred. An Associate's degree in a related field with equivalent experience will be considered. The ideal candidate will be able to relate to students, staff, and families in a positive and effective manner, facilitate small groups with children, and work independently and take initiative with tasks.
Compensation and Benefits: $25.30 Per Hour, 35 Hours Per Week, Health benefits offered (Medical Only-Mirrors District Paraprofessional Health Coverage)
Benefits: Interventionists are provided with 5 sick days and 1 personal day to use by the end of the year. Interventionists are not entitled to paid holidays.
