Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team on a part-time day shift basis. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Support the surgical team in maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and best practices
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or eligibility for state board certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • AHA ACLS certification within 60 days of hire
  • AHA PALS certification within 60 days of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing
  • Completion of peri-anesthesia or critical care internship/training course
  • Certification in surgery, post-anesthesia, or GI lab
Work Environment

This is a part-time day shift position, working in a fast-paced surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and provide excellent patient care.
