The MRI Imaging Specialist will support healthcare professionals in conducting diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures by preparing patients and expertly operating MRI machinery to capture essential diagnostic images.

Qualifications
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate Degree is preferred. Must be a graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography or MRI Program.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in MRI is preferred.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Certification and registration by ARRT in MRI - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within six months of hire is required.
    • Certification and registration within six months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR) for Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities is required.
    • Certification and registration by ARRT in MRI - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) for Hospital Outpatient Departments is required.
    • IV Credentialing is required.
    • Must possess applicable state licensure.
  • Additional Skills Required: Comprehensive knowledge of MRI imaging technology, analytical skills, and basic computer proficiency. Ability to interpret information to meet each patient's care requirements relative to their age-specific needs. Strong communication skills are essential.
