Job Title: MRI Technologist

MedQuest is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and producing accurate diagnostic images.

Job Summary:
  • Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Prepare patients for scans, including positioning and immobilization.
  • Operate MRI equipment, maintaining high standards of technical competence and clinical judgment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Responsibilities:
  • Complete scans effectively and efficiently, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Screen patients for ferrous and RF-sensitive material before entering the magnetic field.
  • Position and prepare patients for MRI procedures, selecting appropriate immobilization devices.
  • Review patient charts and physician requests to determine optimal scanning parameters.
  • Administer contrast agents in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Enter necessary patient information to initiate scans.
  • Assess and monitor patient physical and mental status throughout procedures.
  • Review images to determine if additional scans are necessary.
  • Document diagnostic, treatment, and patient data in the appropriate record.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
  • Active state licensure, where applicable.
  • CPR certification.
  • 0+ years of experience as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, required.
  • 2+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist, preferred.
