Solenis is seeking a highly skilled EHS Specialist to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, directing, and implementing Solenis' environmental health and safety programs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a positive, safe, healthy, and incident-free work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement EHS programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs to ensure employee understanding and compliance with EHS policies and procedures.
- Investigate and report on all incidents and near-misses, and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to employees on EHS-related matters.
- Develop and maintain EHS metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
