About the Role

Solenis is a leading global producer of specialty chemicals, and we're seeking an EHS Specialist to join our team. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in planning, directing, and implementing our environmental health and safety programs. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure a positive, safe, healthy, and incident-free work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS training programs for employees
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with the EHS Manager to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures
  • Provide technical support to employees on EHS-related matters
  • Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses
  • Develop and maintain EHS documentation, including training records and incident reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as environmental science or occupational health and safety
  • 2-4 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
