SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is between $55,500 and $60,300, depending on experience, which translates to a competitive hourly rate of $26-$28 per hour.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support our 345-unit Conventional Market-Rate Community, The AJ. As a key member of our management team, you will work closely with the Community Manager to ensure smooth operations, monitor marketing efforts, develop new strategies, collect outstanding balances, and enforce lease agreements.
This role requires strong customer service and communication skills, as well as the ability to lead by example and maintain a service-oriented environment. You will be responsible for promoting resident satisfaction and retention, resolving complaints, and taking appropriate action to address service issues.
You will also assist with inspecting vacant units, make-ready apartments, models, and the overall community for upkeep and lease violations. In addition, you will support leasing associates in the leasing of apartments and ensure that company policies, procedures, Fair Housing guidelines, and other applicable laws are followed.
Required Skills and Qualifications- At least two (2) years of experience in on-site apartment leasing, preferably in a leadership role
- Tax-credit experience required; market-rate/conventional experience preferred
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of YARDI Voyager, Site Manager, CRM Flex, EliseAI, Snappt, YES Energy, DoorKing, ButterflyMX, Spectrum or similar PMS programs
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Management of on-site staff and resources
- Successful track record of meeting property goals and optimizing asset performance
