Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN-Assisted Living Supervisor to join our team at HRA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for supervising the delivery of resident care provided by licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the delivery of resident care services, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Conduct regular health and wellness checks on residents, reviewing their medical history and current condition to ensure that their needs are met.
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans for residents, working closely with the Director of Resident Care and other healthcare professionals to ensure that each resident receives the care and services they need.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Food and Beverage to ensure that residents' dietary needs are met, and coordinate with the Director of Resident Care to ensure that residents' medical needs are met.
  • Provide training and education to nursing staff on resident care and services, ensuring that they are equipped to provide the highest level of care.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' condition, including any adverse reactions to medications or other treatments.
  • Ensure that all infection control guidelines are met, and that residents' wellness files are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Facilitate OSHA training and ensure that employees are compliant with all relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Graduated from an accredited program for Registered Nurses and is currently registered in the state of this community.
  • Must obtain valid Continuing Education credits as required by the state of this community.
  • Training in the special needs of the cognitively impaired resident, including Alzheimer and Dementia training with focus on Validation Therapy.
  • Basic CPR/first aid training.
  • One additional year of experience with a long-term facility in a licensed staff position.
  • One to two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Organizational or management experience supervising others preferred.
  • Ability to respond during off-duty hours to questions and emergencies.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and Outlook software.
