RN MDS Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled RN MDS Supervisor to join our team at Ascension Living. As a key member of our nursing administration team, you will be responsible for supervising the collection of data for use in determining care plans, ensuring compliance with treatment norms and privacy standards, and promoting survey preparedness at all times.
Responsibilities- Supervise the collection of data for use in determining care plans, compliance with treatment norms and privacy standards.
- Direct, educate, and monitor staff, providing input for hiring, training, directing, development, and evaluating staff.
- Ensure the accuracy of patient charts and medical data, working as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain current knowledge of federal, state, and local standards and regulations for long-term care, including certification, licensure, and accreditation.
- Participate in the CMS survey process and plan of correction.
- Train individuals to develop a comprehensive care plan for facility residents in coordination with the Minimum Data Set (MDS) that accurately addresses the needs of residents.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. BLS Provider preferred.
- Education: Required professional licensure/certification and 1 year of cumulative job-specific experience required.
- Additional Preferences: Minimum Data Set (MDS) experience highly preferred, Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Home experience preferred.
