RN - Operating Room - CNRVMC

As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team. With a focus on providing individualized care to patients of all ages, you will utilize your critical thinking skills and delegation abilities to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct age-specific admission and ongoing assessments to develop a comprehensive plan of care.
Collaborate with the healthcare team, patient, and family to create and implement an interdisciplinary plan of care, revising as needed based on patient status.
Administer treatments and medications accurately and document using automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
Requirements:
Graduate of a professional nursing program from an accredited college or eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain licensure. Obtain CPR and as needed ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications.
Proficient in electronic medical records (EPIC) and able to meet essential job functions.
