Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Operator to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a Shuttle Bus Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of passengers in our shuttle buses.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the shuttle bus to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Operate the shuttle bus in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Assist passengers with their luggage and other traveling items, if necessary.
  • Communicate with passengers and other drivers to ensure a smooth and safe transportation experience.
  • Report any incidents or accidents to the Facility Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Facility Manager.
Requirements
  • Valid state-issued driver's license.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10s and 100s.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
  • Ability to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
