Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team at SP Plus Corporation. As a Shuttle Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and operating shuttle buses in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform vehicle inspections and maintain the cleanliness of bus interiors
  • Fuel buses and log trip counts
  • Assist disabled passengers and provide excellent customer service
  • Report any accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager
  • Communicate with the garage office regarding debris, water, oil spills, and other issues
  • Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when necessary
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways in the area
  • Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items
Requirements
  • Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid state driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and other employees
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10s and 100s
Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
