Solar Photovoltaic Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Solar Photovoltaic Technician to join our team at TechFlow, Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar photovoltaic systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on solar photovoltaic systems to ensure optimal performance and extend system lifespan.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues.
  • Replace battery systems for UPS and Lighting Inverter systems every five years.
  • Assess inventories and perform condition assessments as required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and note in our CMMS.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Electrical background required.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in the maintenance and repair of solar photovoltaic systems.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Training on Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS) and Lighting Inverters.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
  • Use of hands, reaching with hands and arms, talking, and walking.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting, bending, squatting, standing, twisting, or stooping.
  • Climbing ladders and entering confined spaces.
