Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a culture of virtual building among internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage VDC planning and execution, including consensus building and integration with partners and peers
  • Communicate the value proposition and standard of care for VDC capabilities
  • Develop VDC team succession and transition plans within company career pathways
  • Build integrated relationships with peers and leadership in key departments
  • Develop and lead implementation of VDC processes, best practices, technologies, and training
  • Maintain and communicate VDC lessons learned, best practices, and metrics
  • Represent VDC throughout the project lifecycle, including client interactions
  • Support regional VDC initiatives and national focus area projects
  • Produce model content, collect and process laser scan data, and conduct drone flights
  • Develop and own BIM execution planning, BIM exhibits, and front-end language
  • Develop and own resource plans, integration schedules, defined scopes of work, and VDC cost estimates
  • Integrate with project teams and leadership to develop VDC plans
  • Manage 3D constructability reviews, 3D model-based coordination, laser scanning, drone program, and advanced reality capture

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent industry experience
  • 7+ years relevant industry experience; 3+ years dedicated to VDC desired
  • Proactive and consistent leadership mindset; cultural steward within team
  • Process-oriented, timely, and accountable to commitments and deadlines
  • Strong overall knowledge of building construction sequencing and building systems
  • Strong overall knowledge of project delivery methods
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in BIM coordination software, model authoring BIM software, and laser scanning and processing
  • Experience with UAS photogrammetry collection and output
