Specialists must demonstrate proficiency in handling age-related developmental considerations for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric populations, ensuring clear communication regarding procedures and potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations with a focus on mammography.
- Troubleshoot and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Report any significant equipment issues promptly to the appropriate service personnel.
- Collaborate with the radiology department and medical staff to provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:
- Certification in general radiologic technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)(R) is mandatory.
- Advanced ARRT certification in Mammography is required for independent duties.
- Completion of a recognized diagnostic radiologic technology program, resulting in a certificate or associate degree.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.
- Knowledge of radiographic techniques, patient safety protocols, and imaging equipment is crucial.
