Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist performs routine and standardized examinations, assisting in more complicated cases as needed. They must demonstrate proficiency, ethical, and professional conduct, and provide clear explanations to patients of all ages. The Rad Tech is responsible for troubleshooting equipment and reporting malfunctions in a timely manner. They work under the supervision of the director of radiology and other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care, adhering to federal and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Completion of a recognized school of Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification
  • Licensure by the State Department of Health
  • Prefer one year of radiology experience, but will consider registry-eligible graduates
  • CPR certification
