Radiologic Imaging Specialist

The Radiology Technologist performs routine and standardized examinations, and assists in more complicated examinations as needed. They must demonstrate proficiency, ethical, and professional conduct in diagnostic radiographic cases, and display a good understanding of age-related developmental issues when explaining exams to patients. The Rad Tech must also troubleshoot equipment and exercise caution in handling radiation-producing equipment. They work under the supervision of the director of radiology and other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care, following federal and state regulations applicable to diagnostic imaging services.
Job Requirements:
Must have completed a recognized school of Radiologic Technology, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification, and licensed by the State Department of Health. Prefer one year of radiology experience, but will consider registry-eligible graduates. CPR certification is required.
