Role Overview
As a Systems Engineer focused on Enterprise Acquisition Sales, you will collaborate with an Account Manager dedicated to acquiring new clients. Your role will involve providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer’s zero trust journey. Your Contributions

  • Exhibiting strong communication skills to influence stakeholders through effective presentations, demos, and workshops.
  • Coordinating resources to ensure a unified approach that showcases a cohesive strategy.
  • Promoting comprehensive solutions that incorporate Palo Alto Networks and/or partner services to deliver business value swiftly.
  • Understanding the competitive landscape to effectively highlight our leadership.
  • Continuously enhancing your technical and professional skills to increase your contributions to customer success while engaging with the Systems Engineering community and industry events.

Qualifications
Your background should include:

  • A robust technical understanding of data networking.
  • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence and gain support from key stakeholders in both customer-facing and internal roles, with prior pre-sales experience being advantageous.
  • Expertise in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or validation engagements.
  • Experience as a quota-carrying sales engineer with a focus on SaaS/SASE/cloud/managed/on-prem offerings.
  • Experience in complex sales involving lengthy processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions.

Compensation
The compensation for this position will be based on qualifications, experience, and work location, with a starting base salary range for non-sales roles expected to be between $192,000 and $264,000 annually. Additional compensation may include restricted stock units and bonuses.
