Patient Care Technician

The Gap Year Patient Care Technician provides patient care tasks and procedures under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) and according to established procedures. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in a healthcare setting while taking a gap year from their studies.
Responsibilities:
Perform patient care tasks and procedures as directed by the RN
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Assist with patient transfers and mobility
Provide emotional support to patients and families
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science (BS) in biology or biochemistry or relevant science degree
Current CPR certification
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
EKG training within three months of position start date
