POSITION SUMMARY:

The selected candidate will be an empowered team member and leader, well-versed in the business landscape, who applies best practices to facilitate the gathering, organization, and documentation of business requirements, collaborating with members of designated MultiPlan business units.

The individual must ensure that the project team devises solutions that genuinely address the customer's needs; reduce requirement defects from the outset, and establish and maintain consensus between the customer and project team regarding the requirements for project deliverables on initiatives that are intricate and not always clearly defined.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Proactively solicit, analyze, and negotiate customer requirements to ensure that the project team can develop solutions that genuinely meet the customer's needs; minimize requirement defects from the outset, and establish and maintain consensus between the customer and project team on project deliverables.
  • Oversee multiple priorities, manage customer expectations, and foster relationships with all stakeholders. Cultivate relationships with customers, project managers, and various levels of management.
  • Engage with project business sponsors, software end-users, applications development staff, and others as necessary to fulfill assignments. Conduct meetings with business stakeholders to actively solicit, analyze, and negotiate customer requirements. Secure signoff on business requirements.
  • Gather input from developers and other technical personnel to assess the level of effort required to complete tasks and from the business community to define project scope.
  • Assist with project planning, including methodologies, processes, tasks, and schedules.
  • Collaborate with applications development staff during the technical design, programming, unit-testing, and implementation phases. Conduct walkthroughs as the transition from analysis to development in the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate modifications to functional specifications that arise during development and update functional specifications as necessary.
  • Support customers in training initiatives for end users and staff members.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across various disciplines and departments.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and requirements.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the Company's core values.

JOB SCOPE:

The incumbent operates with minimal supervision and employs independent judgment to identify issues, trends, and challenges, recommending action plans and evaluating outcomes on projects that may not be clearly defined and are extensive in scope.

The work is diverse and complex, necessitating the individual to leverage a broad range of knowledge acquired through extensive experience. The position collaborates with internal and external sources to achieve objectives, prioritizing the needs of both external and internal customers when making decisions and taking action.
